SAIT has been planning multiple initiatives as part of the Division of Student Affairs’ strategic planning process. One of the initiatives we are excited to announce is a project to research and select a product that would allow us to centrally manage mobile device security, patching and tracking. With the implementation of such a product we hope to expand our service catalog to meet the needs of our Student Affairs colleagues, who have expressed the need to be more mobile as they collaborate and meet outside of the standard office space.
Currently, we are only able to support iPads for limited use. This upcoming initiative will allow us to increase the availability and variety of tablet devices in the Division, while implementing the proper infrastructure to manage and support this effort with integrity.
